Die ZHdK-CampusCard ist ein im Kreditkartenformat gehaltener, multifunktionaler Ausweis mit integriertem Chip. Im Toni Areal kommt die ZHdK-CampusCard als Legitimationskarte, Zugangsbadge, Bibliothekausweis, Kopierkarte und als Zahlungsmittel zum bargeldlosen Bezahlen im Verpflegungsbereich zum Einsatz. Die CampusCard ist auch der Zugang zum Sportangebot des ASVZ. Die ZHdK-CampusCard muss jedes Semester neu validiert werden (Aufdruck des Gültigkeitsdatums). Dafür stehen im Toni-Areal Validierungsstationen bereit. Eine Validierung ist erst möglich, wenn die Studiengebühr für das laufende Semester bezahlt ist. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, die CampusCard jeweils ab Anfang September (für das Herbstsemester) respektive ab Anfang Februar (für das Frühlingssemester) zu validieren.
Sportangebot
Die Zürcher Hochschule der Künste hat im Rahmen der Zürcher Fachhochschule eine Vereinbarung mit dem Akademischen Sportverband ASVZ unter The ZHdK Campus Card is a multifunctional identity card. Fitted with an integrated chip, it can be used as a contactless credit card across campus. It also serves as Student ID, access badge, library card, and as a means of cashless payment (university restaurant and other services). It also enables students to access the ASVZ sports facilities and sessions. Cards must be revalidated every semester by printing the validity date onto the card at one of the designated chargers (validation stations). Cards can be validated only if students have paid their fees for the current semester. We recommend validating the Campus Card at the beginning of September (for the autumn semester) and at the beginning of February (for the spring semester).
Sports
Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) has an agreement with the ASVZ (Academic Sports Association) that grants ZHdK students access to ASVZ facilities and services (see http://aszv.ch getroffen wonach alle Studierende alle Leistungen des ASVZ beanspruchen können. Der Pflichtbeitrag von 25 CHF pro Semester wird den Studierenden automatisch in Rechnung gestellt. Des Weiteren bietet die ZHdK ein Sportprogramm über Mittag an.
Empfehlung
Wir empfehlen den Studienbeginnern einen eigenen Laptop mitzubringen. Von Vorteil ist ein Apple Computer, da die meisten Dozenten mit Apple Geräten unterrichten. Außerdem sind ausschließlich Apple Software Pakete (Adobe MASTERCOLLECTION) bei der ITZ-Stelle als Studierenden-Version als Angebot (100 CHF) erhältlich. Der Support von der ZHdK ITZ ist somit natürlich auch gewährleistet). Students are charged the compulsory membership fee (CHF 25.00) automatically with their tuition fees. In addition to ASVZ offerings, ZHdK offers a lunchtime sports programme.
Recommendation
Students are advised to bring their personal laptop to classes. We recommend Apple devices, as these are used by most teaching staff.
