Here some notes on organizing these events:

…Rooms: Rooms must be booked before the semester starts. Please check with Karin Luginbühl (karin.luginbuehl@zhdk.ch). Additional chairs can be ordered from the housekeeping department (service.fm@zhdk.ch).
Communication: Please announce the event at least 3 weeks beforehand, followed by a friendly reminder in the week of the talk. People tend to forget things, even the good stuff. Every events gets a little poster/gif which has to be designed by the organizers.
Speakers: Preparing the presentations takes a lot of time. Fix the dates with the lecturers early on. The idea is to have a 2-year-rotation.
