    Draft thesis structure
    Background/context research (literature review and related work, situating work in relation to theory & practice, field of contribution). 
    Advanced prototype
    Choice of mentoring team
  • 23 March 2018:
    Written thesis - fully structured and 90% completed
  • 28 May 2018:
    BA thesis and project documentation delivered (including updates and rewrites, with final reflection on practice)

  • 31 May 2018:
    Exhibition review with mentors
  • 7 June 2018 (tbc): 
    Exhibition Vernissage 



Fall 2017

  • Free Flow seminars, once a month (21 Sept 'Urban Walk', 10 Oct 'Nature Walk/Teaching exchange', 22 Nov / half a day 'Train Ride', 18 Dec 'Time travel' )

  • Academic Writing Workshop (4 days, Sept-Oct, 1 day Dec)

  • 12th December 2017: Deadline to receive a "statement & project disposition" (2 pages)
    The student finds their own voice and makes a stand: what contribution they want to make?

  • 8-19 January 2018: BA concept seminar objective: - what does it mean to make a statement, a contribution

    - thesis expansion from thesis disposition - idea generation, translation, execution
    - quick prototype sessions
    - prototype = pretotype
    - testing out scale


Spring 2018


  • Once-a-month general in-class presentation, advancement of project as well as theoretical research (March/April/May)

  • Exhibition workshop (March)
  • Documentation workshop (March)
  • Video workshop (April) - optional (only for those who will make videos)
