Every year the IAD organizes an excursion for the 5th/6th semester students. Mostly it takes place in February. The goal is to travel to a city together with the classmates and two members of the iad team (mostly a lecturer plus a scientific or teaching assistant). We visit design agencies and museums, take part in guided tours or undertake other, to a certain extent design-relevant things. Of course there is also time for some non-design-relevant activities in the evenings.
Costs
The costs depend on the destination, transportation, accommodation and so on. The IAD pays CHF 150.- per person (, which should cover some of the expenses, but probably not all of it).
