General
Every year, the IAD organizes an excursion for the 5th/6th semester students. Mostly it takes place in February.
The goal of the excursion is to travel to a city with a vibrant cultural scene, where we can widen our horizon and get insights into different fields. Together with the classmates and two members of the IAD team (mostly a lecturer plus an assistant), we visit design agencies and museums, take part in guided tours or undertake other, to a certain extent design-relevant activities. Of course there is also time for some non-design-related things in the evenings.
Costs
The costs depend on the destination, transportation, accommodation and other details of the excursion. The IAD pays CHF 150.- per person, which should cover some of the expenses, but probably not all of it.
