    Hackteria

    Hackteria is a large biohacking community running their own biolab and hacking space at Zentralwäscherei (near Hardbrücke). They offer regular workshops and other formats and maintain a comprehensive Wiki.

    • Dr. Marc Dusseiller, is a Zurich-based artist, scientist, hacker, instructor, and co-founder of Hackteria

    • Maya Minder, Zurich-based artist and fermentista with expertise in biomaterials such as scoby

    • Dr. Adam Zaretsky, bio art pioneer, wet-lab art practitioner mixing ecology, biotechnology, non-human relations, body performance and gastronomy

    Swiss Federal Institute  for Forest, Snow and  Landscape Research WSL

    The WSL is one of the four ETH Research Domains. One of the internationally leading research institutes in the field of terrestrial environmental research.

    The artist-in-labs programme offers residencies every year, in 2022 also in cooperation with WSL.
