This year, the free flow takes us for a 2-day retreat at Alpenhof.

The purpose for the 'free flow' is for mentors and students to spend time together in an alternative mode than the usual school setting.
In a different setting and with different tools, they discuss together interests and topics ranging from the upcoming thesis to life in general.
This is also a special exchange moment for bonding.

Recap activities

  • Cooking dinner together (Thursday evening)
    • Bring your topping for Flammenkuchen in advance (next grocery store is in Heiden - 3km by foot). Students and teachers cook and clean up together.
  • «Ideation walk» through the nature
    • It seems to have nice hiking trails around the Alpenhof. But most of the tours have St. Anton (= Alpenhof) as their final destination, means that we'd have to start the tour with a descent, which is maybe not so nice. But anyway, we need to spend some time outside. The nature seems to be amazing around there.
  • Visit the library (Bibliothek Andreas Züst) and/or the current art exhibition (Alpenhof Events) together and use it as a source for inspiration/discussion.
  • «Ideation speed dating » (Method)
  • Hang out, have a after-dinner drink and listen to the sound from the jukebox (Alpenhof Jukebox).
  • Questions game, chatpack
  • Brainstorming (guided by Clemens)
  • ...

Note on accommodation: students are divided in 1 room of 4, 1 room of 3 and 4 rooms of 2.
