Exercise 4 Ecology in a jar

Collect sediments (stones, sand, mud), some plant life and fill a jar with water from the lake or river (depending on where we do the exercise).
Label the jar: location, date, your name.
Bring it to Toni and let it rest over the weekend.
Observe during the next week and document what you find.
